In here, you will find all information related to the processing of your personal data, whether you are only navigating through or are registered on our Platform (the “Platform”) accessible through this link: https://kryptview.com/.

Throughout this Policy, you should be able to understand the nature of personally identifiable information (“personal data”) that we collect, why and how we process it, with whom we may disclose it and the means that we implement to ensure their security and the efficiency of your privacy rights.

This Privacy Policy also aims to communicate all information required by applicable data protection laws, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 – or “GDPR”).

Finally, we draw your attention to the fact that we may make changes to this document in order to comply with any new regulations or to adapt it to our practices.

Article 1 – Data Controller

The personal data collected on the Platform is processed by KRYPTVIEW, acting as data controller as defined by the GDPR.

KRYPTVIEW is a Société par Actions Simplifiée incorporated under French law, having its registered office located 7, Place de l’Hôtel de Ville 93600 AULNAY-SOUS-BOIS France, registered under number 904 442 530 with the Registry of Trade and Companies of Bobigny, subject to compliance with GDPR requirements.

Regarding your country of residence, some additional data protection rules or specificities related to the processing of your personal data may apply.

Article 2 – Collection of personal data

The term “personal data” shall be understood as defined by Article 4 of the GDPR, meaning it refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (“data subject”).

In accordance with the principle of minimization, KRYPTVIEW (“we”, “us”, “KRYPTVIEW”) shall ensure that it only collects personal data that is strictly necessary for the purposes of the processing carried out, as defined in this Privacy Policy.

When you visit, register or login on the Platform, and depending on your actions, we are likely to collect your personal data.

Action 1: When you visit the Website or login on the Platform

The personal data we may collect are the following: navigation data such as your IP address and other technical data made available through the use of your computer. This data are collected either automatically or after having received your consent for such collection.

In addition, statistical data may be collected during your visit (e.g., number of pages consulted, number of visits on the Platform, engagement time on the Platform, number of views, etc.).

Action 2: When you decide to contact us by email (privacy@kryptview.com)

The personal data we may collect is the following: identification data (such as your first and last name), contact data (such as your email address), and other data directly communicated by you through your use of the contact form (such as your request and other information you may communicate to us).

Action 3: When you subscribe to our newsletter

If you are visiting or registering on the Platform, you have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates and information related to news on cryptocurrencies, events that we may organize (such as competitions on the Platform) or other publications related to KRYPTVIEW.

Action 4: When you sign up on the Platform

Our Platform allows for you to create a personal account. To do so, you can use the sign-up form available on our landing page. The personal data we may collect is directly communicated by you and may be identification data (such as your name), contact data (such as your email address), logins (such as username and password), etc.

Action 5: When you edit your profile on your personal account on the Platform

When creating your personal account or login in on the Platform, you may complete or edit your public profile.

In doing so, you may (i) connect your public profile to your social media accounts (such as Reddit, Twitter, Telegram, DIscord), (ii) connect your cryptocurrency wallet, (iii) modify your display name (username) and (iv) add a description on your profile. Information (i), (iii) and (iv) will be accessible to the other users on the Platform.

By editing your profile, you may communicate personal data related to the above-mentioned actions.

Action 6: When you publish or review scorings on the Platform

When logged in on the Platform, you may edit and publish scorings on several cryptocurrencies. Also, you may review other members’ scorings. Your scorings will be made available to other users of the Platform.

The scorings you publish on the Platform will identify your username as the author of the contribution. Other users on the Platform will be able to access your contributions.

The scorings you publish will also be accessible on the Platform from your public profile, as well as the total number of validated scorings you have published, and the percentage of your validated scorings out of the total number of published scorings.

Action 7: When are you create or manage a portfolio

When logged in on the Platform, you can create or manage a portfolio. Your portfolio will be made available to other users on the Platform.

The portfolio you publish on the Platform will identify your username as the author of the contribution. Other users on the Platform will be able to access your contributions.

Action 8: When you are ranked on the Platform

When creating an account on the Platform, and publishing contributions (including portfolio sharing, scorings and reviews of cryptocurrencies), you will be ranked with other members.

Your public profile can then be displayed in the Leaderboard (global or weekly), which highlights the 50 highest ranked contributors.

Your ranking will be determined under the conditions described in our Terms of Use.

Action 9: When you get rewards for contributions

In order for you to receive rewards, we may have to process personal data made available through your member account on the Platform such as your identification data, wallet address, contact data, information on your profile, number of contributions, etc.

If some of the information needed for rewards distribution is not available in your member account, then we may need to ask you for it directly by contacting you by email or through a social network.

Action 10: When you participate to online contests / giveaways / airdrops organized on the Platform

We organize online contests, giveaways or airdrops from time to time on the Platform, whether or not in cooperation with one or more partners. During these operations, if you decide to participate, we will need to collect and process some of your personal data.

This personal data will be directly provided by you either when you register on the Platform, when you complete your member account, or when you register to participate in the online contest. It could be, for example, identification data such as your first and last names, username, social networks usernames, wallet address, contact data such as your email address, postal address, telephone number, etc.

If some of the information needed for price / giveaway / airdrop distribution is not available, we may need to ask you for it directly by contacting you by email or through a social network.

Article 4 – Recipients or categories of recipients of your personal data

Your personal data is intended for teams specifically authorized to access it within their functions at KRYPTVIEW and only to reach the purposes of the processing mentioned above.

In any case, your data will only be accessed by employees whose functions require such access.

Processors

Your personal data may be accessible and processed by KRYPTVIEW’s processors in order to achieve the purposes mentioned above and to ensure the performance of the Platform and its features or perform contracts. These processors may be in charge of, among other things, IT services, member support, development and improvement of the platform, contract execution, account management, accounting, and the sending of newsletters.

Processors may only use or disclose this data to the extent necessary to perform services for us or to comply with legal rules. KRYPTVIEW contractually obliges these processors to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data that they process on our behalf.

External recipients

Some of your personal data is made available to other members registered on the Platform.

Joint Controllership: If KRYPTVIEW acts together with other parties as joint controller (e.g. processing data for jointly determined purposes), KRYPTVIEW provides those parties with personal data if applicable and based on at least one of the legal bases listed above under Article 3. In case of a joint controllership, we transmit your personal data only based on a sufficient agreement with our partners (Art 26 GDPR).

Other third parties: KRYPTVIEW might transfer your personal data to any other person with your consent to the disclosure or the purpose of performing a contract or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Where appropriate, KRYPTVIEW may be required to disclose your personal data, when such disclosure is necessary:

  • To comply with an applicable law, subpoena, or court order.
  • To comply with legitimate requests from a competent public or governmental authority.
  • To prevent a crime, cooperate or conduct an investigation, such as fraud or identity theft.
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of KRYPTVIEW, members of the Platform, Internet users or third parties.

International transfer of personal data

Where you are a resident of a Member State of the European Union (“EU”), the GDPR requires to implement specific safeguards to ensure the adequate protection of your personal data when transferred to the recipient’s country located outside of the EU.

Within the processing mentioned in this Privacy Policy, some of your personal data may be transferred outside of the EU.

If your personal data should be transferred to a recipient outside of the EU, KRYPTVIEW undertakes to implement necessary safeguards to ensure a similar level of protection to your personal data as would be applied within the EU.

These safeguards will be implemented in compliance with GDPR provisions and could be, for example, the signing with recipient of the Standard Contractual Clauses as published by the European Commission.

Article 5 – Privacy rights

In accordance with European data protection laws and regulations, such as the GDPR, you have a right to access, rectify, erase, or ask for portability of your personal data. You may also ask to restrict the processing of your personal data or object to such processing.

Regarding newsletters, you may at any time decide to unsubscribe to our newsletter by simply clicking on the “unsubscribe” link placed at the end of each newsletter we might send you.

For French residents, you may inform us of your instructions regarding the fate of your personal data in the event of your death.

To protect your privacy and security, we may also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing your requests.

If you should consider that we do not respect your privacy rights, you may introduce a complaint within your competent supervisory authority (or data protection authority).

Article 6 – Security and confidentiality of your personal data

KRYPTVIEW implements and maintains organizational and technical security measures to ensure the confidentiality, availability, integrity, and security of your personal data. To this end, legal, organizational, and technical precautions are set up to protect your personal data from loss, theft, unauthorized access or disclosure, modification, or destruction.

The measures being implemented are set up after evaluations of the nature of your personal data concerned, the risks that may be implied by the processing and the standards applicable regarding IT security.

The personal data collected through our Platform is stored confidentially and protected at a high level of security.

All the pages of the Platform on which you may communicate personal data are secured with TLS protocol (i.e., HTTPS).

Article 7 – Data retention periods

KRYPTVIEW only keeps your personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and in compliance with the applicable regulations in force.

In general, depending on your situation, the following retention periods may apply:

Some personal data may be kept for an additional period of time for the management of claims and/or litigation as well as to meet our legal or regulatory obligations or to respond to requests from authorized authorities. This data will be kept in intermediate storage and will benefit from restricted access for these purposes only.

Article 8 – Use of cookies

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file saved in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your terminal, that can be deposited when you consult an online service via your browser. It allows its editor to identify the terminal in which it is stored for the period of validity or storage of the cookie.

How are cookies used on the Platform and for which purposes?

Cookies that can be deposited on the Platform can be used for several purposes.

Cookies can be used, for example:

  • To ensure the performance of the Platform.
  • To ensure that your choice regarding the use of cookies is stored and applied.
  • To allow for personalization of the content displayed on the Platform.
  • To allow for the measurement of the audience on the Platform.
  • To allow for connection to social networks.
  • To analyze traffic on the Platform, etc.

Strictly functional cookies, that allow for the technical performance of the Platform for example, can be exempted from your consent and may be deposited directly from your arrival on the Platform.

Other types of cookies, that are not exempted from prior consent requirement, can only be deposited after you have expressly agreed to their use via our CMP.
